A WHOLE LOTTA HOCKNEY
Locally based artist the subject of exhibition to cover six decades
From the Daily Telegraph
By Hannah Furness, Arts Correspondent
'Six decades of David Hockney's work is to be exhibited by Tate Britain...with a room left over for works yet to be created.
David Hockney is to celebrate his 80th birthday with the 'world’s most extensive retrospective' of his work, as he promises to produce a room full of new works for Tate Britain.
The Tate gallery is to honour Hockney with his first major British retrospective in 30 years in 2017, aiming to renew the artist’s popular reputation and bring new focus to his intelligent side.'
Hull - UK City of Culture 2017
'We are a social media based Hull City AFC supporters group 'serving the Tiger Nation at home and abroad'. We also promote tourism and the economy of Hull and the East Riding. We hope to use Hull City's return to the Premier League as a platform to promote all things Hull and maximise the opportunities presented by the Tigers' elevation to the top tier.'
