SEASON CARD HOLDERS BALLOT
The Club has chosen to canvas the opinion of Season Card holders in a poll regarding their recent application to The FA. These are the three questions they have selected for fans to answer;
Yes to Hull Tigers with the Allam family continuing to lead the club
No to Hull Tigers
I am not too concerned and will continue
to support the club either way
The club say that voting forms will be emailed to Season Card holders, however you can also download a form yourself from the website;
Votes can be returned to firstname.lastname@example.org or supporters can place their vote inside one of the ballot boxes at the KC Stadium. From today (Saturday) there will be a ballot box inside the East Stand reception, and from Monday there will also be a ballot box inside the West Stand reception. These will remain in place until voting closes on Friday evening.
NAME CHANGE BALLOT
A few thoughts on the ballot;
1. It seems likely that many fans will see the wording of the poll as restrictive as it seems to specifically prevent a NO to Hull Tigers vote accompanied by support for the Allam stewardship.
2. There are some possible biases in the question, probably more serious ones in the preamble to the question. But it is open to interpretation as to how this might influence voters.
3. It would be useful to know who is running the vote; if the Club genuinely want the fairest vote, we might have expected them to ask an independent 3rd party with no axe to grind to design the question and preamble, run the voting process and count the votes.
4. We assume the FA would not have been considered an independent party to run a vote themselves as it appears their officials may have already expressed an opinion against the proposed change.
