Tigerlink launched on 6 June 2013. We are a small, enthusiastic group of Hull City AFC fans embarking on an exciting new venture.
Our aim is to provide a service for Hull City fans at home and abroad. We will also be promoting tourism and the economy of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Our activities will be based around this website and our presence on social media;
We hope you find our service informative and interesting. A large part of what we do will involve you. We are keen, through social media and our contact sections on this site, to bring
together fans of Hull City all over the world, and involve you all in what we do. For those of you attending Premier League matches this season, our key feature on this website will be the ClubLINK
profiles. These profiles will be living documents, evolving over time into a one stop shop for everything you need to know about your away day matchday experience. In particular, the KC StadiumLINK
gives us the opportunity to showcase everything our magnificent city has to offer, and we hope that this will be useful for fans travelling from far and wide to watch the Tigers, as well as away fans
planning their trip to the city.
TIGERLINK - AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
We hope to maximise the advantages of Hull City being in the Premier League as we felt this was not done before.
We hope to work with local businesses to promote the economy and tourism on the back of Hull City's success. With Hull bidding to be UK City of Culture 2017, this area has the potential to prosper in the coming months and here at Tigerlink we want to do our bit to help raise the profile of our wonderful city.
We want to contact Hull City fans around Hull, the East Riding, the UK and the globe - feature them, involve them and bring them closer to it all. We will act as an information service for
We hope to work directly with the Club as part of their Fans Liaison/Advisory Group (FLAG).
We will be publishing comprehensive information sheets for each Premier League club based on research and social media. This, we hope, will be a one stop preview of an away game, with links to local bars, theatre, media, current events, local attractions, transport, supporter groups. There will be factual information and interaction.
There will be a similar information sheet for Hull City for each home game. We hope each info sheet will be an 'evolving product', constantly amended based on social media feedback. We hope to be a useful information source for City fans.
Our social media prescence will be key to fan interaction and the Facebook and Twitter acccounts will provide a valuable tool to bring Hull City fans together and to promote our service.
We are currently a non profit making organisation although we need sponsors to cover our costs and we are looking for these.
Our logo and idea is copyright registered with the IPO (Intellectual Property Office).
We hope you will support and assist us in our bid to promote Hull City and the region. We are excited about this project and the upcoming Premier League season and we hope that Tigerlink will provide you all with the opportunity to get involved and that you enjoy using our service.
Thank you for your support,
Hull - UK City of Culture 2017
